Hello 2014

The start of a new year. A blank page. A fresh start.
A time to leave behind the regrets and heartbreaks of a year just ended.
A chance to start anew.
To be who God created you to be.
To not be held back by past mistakes.
To leave your sin and shame at the foot of the cross.
Forgiven
Forgotten
Remembered no more.
365 new days ahead of you.
Days to love.
Days to serve.
Days to grow.
Days to pray.
The old has gone, the new has come.
In Christ you are a new creation.
Now is your chance to live it.
To escape your past.
To run to Christ, our hope and our future,
For the best is yet to come.
This journey is only getting started.
God has plans for us.
Plans to bring hope.
Plans to prosper.
Plans for a future.
Plans for the here and now.
We have the choice.
Life or death.
The old or the new.
We can resolve to lose weight.
We can resolve to quit smoking.
We can resolve to read more.
To watch less.
To explore further.
But really, they don’t matter.
It all boils down to one decision we have to make.
Life or death.
God’s way, or our way.

A time to make a choice.
 
“Oh, that you would choose life, so that you and your descendants might live!” Deuteronomy 30:19
 
We will be diving into looking at how we live out the Kingdom of Heaven soon in a big way at All4God, but for now it all starts with that choice. Choosing life.
