How love wins – Steven Curtis Chapman

As we look to the crucifixion and resurrection of Jesus on that first Easter, we are reminded that it was out of love that He came to take our place on the cross, to take the punishment we deserve. And the cross reminds us that we don’t have to be who we were before – a new way is possible.
How love wins is written from the position of the thief hanging beside Jesus who accepts forgiveness at the last moment, and is a reminder to us that Jesus never gives up on any of us, that He loves us not for what we do, and that ultimately on the cross, Love wins.
