Devotions to help you live out your faith

Here we go again

It has been a while since anything was posted on All4God, and I apologise for that. I have been busy working at a Christian camp in New York State, and a lot of my time was taken up by that and most of my free time was spent hanging out in community with my awesome co-workers/friends. But like all good things it has come to an end, and I am now back home 3000 miles away with a bunch of great memories, a collection of photos and a ton of jetlag. And along the way I have some notes and thoughts that I wrote down in the heat of worship sessions that will become All4God articles in due time.
Over the summer I have grown in my personal walk with God and saw great things happen in the lives of many who were at camp as God transformed lives. And now I am back home “normal service” shall be resumed on All4God (whatever that means), with fresh new reflections from myself and hopefully a few friends too. And hopefully I will be able to share some of what I have learnt over the summer and so I ask for prayers that God would inspire all that gets posted here, that it would be of Him and not of me (or anyone else who contributes). And I aim to live up to the awesome description I got from one camper who read my first book Reflections that I “wrote in words you could understand.” Hopefully you will find the devotions that come in the following months helpful, inspired and understandable. Hopefully God will speak to you through them. Hopefully they won’t just be something you read, but something you let change you. Be open to God’s refining as He shapes you into the person He made you to be. Don’t settle for anything less than His best for you. And remember that following Jesus is a daily decision, no a one time raising of your hand.
So we are going to be looking at how we need to rise up and shine bright for Christ, standing bold and firm on the promise that our God is greater, and if our God is for us then what can stand against us? But for now I have sleep to catch up on, so stay tuned, consider signing up for email updates of new devotions, and if you missed my article on Stuff Christian Like (leading Christian satire site in the world!) check it out here.
